Impressive indeed! The new Eastman Guitars E10OOSS is their take on those classic Gibson bluesy fingerpicking instruments of the '30's and '40's. This is simply a wonderful guitar; 20-year old Adirondack spruce top, figured mahogany back and sides (not sure how that snuck by...), through saddle on a bar bridge, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a nicely done tobacco sunburst top add up to a guitar that should cost far more than this. The aged Adirondack and hand-shaped scalloped X bracing combine for a very sweet but present guitar. Bluesy fingerpicking as well as pretty, lyrical styles both sound great on this one. Our first of this model and we're certain we'll be seeing many more.
