To begin, I would like to thank everyone who has called, emailed or visited the shop over the last year. It's good to know that music and the instruments that create it are still revered by so many people. The holiday season seems to bring reflection around everything that has passed over the last year as well as dreams for the coming year. December, for me, serves to mark the passage of time. As I look back over the last year, I feel a true sense of affirmation that there exists a strong need for the local music store in our technology focused society.
There has been a wide diversity of new and returning faces who have trusted us with their instrument advise, maintenance, and purchasing.
This provides us with a rewarding sense of purpose and satisfaction. As for Maple Leaf Music, I'm going to be adding a few more hand selected small makers including the recent addition of Goodall Acoustic Guitars. It is one of my greatest joys to introduce music lovers to quality instrument builders that they may have only heard of and never had a chance to play.
In closing, my greatest hope is for the peace and happiness that is born from the daily practice of a musical instrument or the partaking of live music.
